Secretary's Page

In loving Memory of our two daughters, Lisa and Laura Neumann,
who were killed by a drunk driver on March 22, 1990.
They are "forever loved" and will not be forgotten by those
who knew and loved them.

We anxiously await our reunion with them in Heaven.

Lisa Neumann                      Laura Neumann

Lisa Neumann was a 23 year old elementary school teacher who was enjoying her first year of teaching.
She had graduated from Pensacola Christian College in May of 1989 and was looking forward to
teaching in a Christian School. She taught a combination class of 3rd and 4th graders. She was a
member of Grape Creek Baptist Church in Danville, Illinois. Lisa was active in church activities
and faithful in her attendance. She is remembered by many for her "laugh" which made you feel happy
and want to laugh, too. She had a heart of love for everyone and was a very thoughtful person.

Laura Neumann was a 15 year old freshman at First Baptist Christian Academy in Rosamond, Illinois.
She was active in cheerleading and volleyball. She was vibrant in her personality and well liked by
her classmates. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Taylorville and was active in church
activities. Laura was faithful in her church attendance. Laura had a winning smile and a personality that
drew people to her. She displayed many leadership qualities.

Lisa and Laura had taken a trip down to Pensacola Christian College to visit some of Lisa's
friends and for Laura to see the college. They visited with family and family friends on the way
down. They had a great week down at the college. On their way home, the Lord changed their
final destination to Heaven instead of Taylorville.

A tract has been written concerning Lisa and Laura entitled "Close Call - Fatal Call."
Please e-mail the secretary if you would like to have one sent to you.
